Mela di Notte

Our signature cocktail, for this month’s apple theme, was created for us by Dan MacLean, the bar manager and mixologist at Salt Kitchen and Rum Bar, in our own Ipswich MA. Mela di Notte means “apple of the night” in Italian, a nod to the Amaro digestif used in the recipe.

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 ½ oz. Laird’s applejack
¾ oz. Green Mountain maple liqueur
¾ oz. Averno Amaro

Instructions

  1. Combine in a shaker glass, with ice.
  2. Shake, pour, and garnish with a thin slice of apple.
